2 cups cold cooked rice
2 eggs
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
1 tbsp oil
Optional: chicken/shrimp
Heat oil, scramble eggs, set aside.
Sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add protein (optional), cook through.
Add rice, break clumps.
Add kecap manis, mix evenly.
Return eggs, stir well, serve hot.
Use cold rice → prevents mushy texture.
